Summer Horse Camp 2020

Come experience the joy of riding at Faithful Stables Horse Camp! Each camper will have endless fun with a schedule full of activities, will learn the art of riding and will meet new friends. Horse camp will also enhance your child's social skills and build their confidence, as well!

Awards ceremony and riding demonstration for parents, friends and relatives on Fridays at 12:00 pm. (Students need to arrive at 8:00 am on Friday.)

Your Child Will Learn:

  • The techniques of riding
  • ​The methods of tacking up horses from the pasture, to the stable, to saddle and bridle
  • Mounting, balance, coordination, and control of the horse
  • The responsibly of taking care of a horse: grooming, feeding, and general care
  • ​The anatomy of a horse​

About Life on a Farm:

  • Cleaning stalls, feeding, etc.
  • Your child will learn about hard work, and how it pays off and can be fun​​
  • Your child will learn about the responsibility of having animals

Items to Bring to Camp

  • Bottled water 
  • Swim suit, towel and sunscreen
  • Change of clothing ( long pants for riding, bring shorts other activities)
  • Boots, Tennis Shoes
  • Brown Bag Lunch 
  • .75 cents for drink machine
